I was just enjoying my horses this morning. Last night I had a round bale of haylage put in the field for two of them (I usually pull loads off a bale and put it out for them) they had tucked into it overnight and looked very smug (and full) this morning. My stallion already has his own bale. I took all their rugs off as it looked and felt like it was going to be a nice day (whoooppeee!). The morning sun was coming up and it was quite misty this morning and the horses all started rolling, bucking and charging about and just looked to be .... CONTENTED. I couldn't stop watching them. Wanted desperately to go back to the yard to get a camera and video their happiness but couldn't tear myself away. Made me late for work! But sometimes you just have to stop and enjoy the moment!
Pretty pointless post really but I thought it would make a nice change to share 'warm and fuzzy moments'.

Those are by far the most special moments in owning a horse
