I'm looking to get my little lurcher a new coat for winter, she is 15yrs old now and if this years like last winter she needs something really cosy but waterproof.

She already has a weatherbeeta which fits her fine and she has a fleecy coat that goes under it to keep her extra snug but the weatherbeeta is a touch too small so I may just get a bigger weatherbeeta. Any other recommendations though?

How about an Equafleece? My 3 jrt's have them. They wash really well and are v toasty and warm. 'My' two girls have the bright pink ones so they are easily spotted when in the bushes etc when it's a bit dark but OH refused to allow his bitch to get a pink one :( so she has the bottle green one.boo

Mark Todd. I have a pretty large rug wardrobe for my staffies and struggle to get dog coats that fit properly. The MT have a large enough strap in the middle, cut so they don't rub, do wash very well and have a collar on the to give protetion upto the ears. I will be getting more of them this winter! although people do look oddly at a staff wearing a coat - but if they actually had a staff would know the breed is almost hairless on its stomach and don't like getting cold!
