I had my eye on a piar of the Mustos as we are quite open to the wind where we live and am currently warming up in the house after getting a soaking this morning.....has anyone got a piar of the mustos ? Was wondering how good they are etc?
I have a pair of the fleecy musto ones, I paid a fortune and have worn them twice.....everything sticks to them..... VELCRO joddies thats what they should be advertised as!!!
i love my thermals!! But the tops on the small side now, so dont think ill be wearing it this winter!
Last year i had a pair of fleece full chaps, but my bum got cold, so this year has invested in a pair of waterproof, fleece lined over trousers, and no complaints from me just yet!
Normal Jods and a pair of Mountain Horse waterproof chaps with fleecy insides. Windproof, water proof and about £30 cheaper than the Musto ones. I live in mine from about November through to March! They come up like brand new in the wash. Just chuck em in the washing machine, dry them on the radiator and they're ready to go next morning!
harry hall atlanta jods are fairly thick and warm, and also durable, i have the beige, brown, burgundy and black ones!! also if its really icy cold, put a pair of thick wooly tights on under your jods, then the beloved thick winter socks and then your jods, if u put your socks on before your jods your feet stay warmer. thats what i do when its cold and i have to ride!! i used to have some dry rider bottoms from robinsons which meaned i could ride in my summer jods, but coz the dry riders were fleecy i stayed nice and warm AND dry
