On cloud nine here - such a journey confidence wise, won't bore anyone with details!
We had not one but TWO jumping lessons today and I LOVED it, really really chuffed with my mare , hunter style jumping position on my part disappeared and according to my instructor really really good riding, was able judge her stride etc...
Off out to our first small jumping competition tomorrow, just looking for tips on warm up and going to a new venue etc..

Give your self and your horse the best chance of success through a good consistant working canter first and foremost.

Make sure your horse is bending properly and moving off your legs , reducing and increasing circles off your leg in canter without losing rhythm , lengthening and shortening your length of stride again in rhythm before you jump your first fence.
