My toes froze last Sunday when out for a 1.5 hour hack in my leather long boots so i'm looking for something warmer. Got quite specific criteria:

*Need to be long boots as want to wear them out to the field which can get very muddy as on clay
*Must cope with being washed off with hose fairly regularly (see prev point)
*Need to be able to ride in them - probably just hacking as I'll wear my smart boots for schooling/lessons
*Want toes to be warm!

I guess what I need are fur lined wellies that you can ride in! Any suggestions?!

Budget of up to £100 but pref no more!

I use woof wear easy close muckers, and my niece has the long version. They are fleece lined, waterproof and keep your feet warm. I usually find mucker type boots really uncomfortable but these are fine to wear working and riding all day! We both ride in them with no problems, and they are only around £40.

I bought some of the HKM ones. They are really good value for money (they were less than £50). The foot section looks like a standard riding boot with laces, and the leg section is really thick and fleece lined.

I really like them. :)

Which ones are they?

I've got both the hkm Madrid with the winter membrane and the Scotland fashion boots both with fur down to toes :)
