Please be warned that an attempt theft occurred last night of a gypsy cob mare, fortunatly a neighbour was walking their dog when they became aware of people with a horse box trying to get into her field, he shone his torch at them thinking it was the owners and the offenders made off. No registration or vehicle type known.
Horse was located in a rural area not overlooked. She has now been moved.
This is a real incident so please take care and report any suspicious occurances to the police.

as I have been trying to get the Kent horseWatch to post something on their site but it appears very outdated!

I have been advised, since getting involved with the miniature that went missing from Monks Horton and found outside a 'known' travellers site outside Canterbury, that there have been a number of thefts and attempted thefts including two horse that have had their manes removed in the night. See 'miniature stolen' on stolen forum.

Please ALL keep them eyes peeled and if anyone works for a local paper or your a website master please get it broadcast as much as possible before someone else is an unfortunate victim!

As a way of a p.s. there have also been x2 horse trailers (Ifors) stolen from Gillingham and Ashford as well as a number of garden sheds have been broken into.

I just want to help out where I can!
