Sitting with a big grin on my face....it's the little things isn't it!? :)

Today my very green hairy cob (that I bought out of a field because I fell in love with him :o ) finally cracked canter. There will be those on here who have seen my posts before about getting the hairy chunky one to canter...well I think we've cracked it!! He even managed to go round a corner :D And he had a bash at cantering on the leg he REALLY can't canter on too....it was a bit disunited, but he really tried, bless him. As it going to pour down tonight I left him in (after lots of cuddles) with a big haynet and a big salt lick. :)

My other boy seems to be coming good too....some of you will know how I was a bit 'done' by a not so reputable dealer back in the spring. My naughty Irish chap has been with Janet George and her team for the last 5 weeks andd they have worked wonders. I went to ride him yesterday and had a fab hack through the woods, with a good old gallop too and I'm off back there tomorrow for another go. I think he'll be home soon. Not bad for a horse that wasn't rideable, eh?? Thanks Janet :D

Anyway, did warn you it was a happy post....a nice big glass of Friday night wine for getting this far :D

Thanks all, I am a very pleased mummy tonight, its been a bit of a tough summer but think we might be getting somewhere! Love my boys! :)

And you should be happy! He's a lovely boy (now) and I think he'll repay you for your dedication (and investment) in him. And he's a damn lucky boy that you DID buy him because he could have only gone from bad to worse if he'd gone to the wrong owner. A lot of people would have cut their losses and just dumped him in an unwarranted sale!
