Just had two men in a white van (transit size but not) come down the yard selling generators etc, asking if there where any horsebox's/trailers for sale!!!!! B*****DS

Lock up all trailers please and keep you eyes out for a white van!!

We had 2 Irish blokes last Thursday afternoon in Essex, I think it was a Ford Connect van. They were quite well dressed, stocky and apparently going home so could offer an even better deal. Generators and flashy pressure washers at what they described at seriously knocked down prices.

I told them I couldn't afford it and they eventually went away, they didn't show any interest in our horses, more our lorry.

We get those quite regularly and we're in scotland - i think they're just touring the country trying to flog these things.

Had the same here in Cornwall about a month ago, stopped my hubby at a local B&Q store offering generators and other stuff.
