Warning to Everyone in this weather If you are out at pubs/clubs etc *

Girls and boys be careful , when your out in this horrid weather , My mum always worries and tells me be careful you dont slip and fall over on ice, in heels or not , you could hurt yourself or bash your head and be knocked out , tehn freeze to death etc .
I always say to her , like on new years eve when i was out , oh dont be silly mother !!

But a friend was heading home last weekend after night out , and she slipped on ice, fell , bashed her head and was out cold for around half and hour , someone found her and called ambulance !!!! It was minus 2 and she could have died !!!

I couldnt believe it !!!!

So be careful peeps !!!!

Also heard recently that another friends BF done this same thing few years ago and he did die , so sad .

Heard in news of several people dying in this severe cold after nights out, one poor woman's door key broke in the lock, she was found dead on the door step the next morning

And if any idiot goes out half dressed and wearing unsuitable shoes in this weather - well, they deserve all they get really.....no sympahy here sorry.

I know , its terrible, thats really sad , wonder why she didnt go to a neighbours or that .
even if you arent out , drunk or anything , some of the roads and pavemets are so bad, i slipped in my riding boots with buckets of water the other day , fell right over , bashed my knees up , but didnt get soaked thankfully !! lol
My friend wasnt one of the half dressed people, she was sensibly attired but know what you mean , I seen a girl on xmas day around 3pm, walking into pub in 6inch heels and a floaty , chiffon scrap of a dress !!!! no scarf , no cardi , no coat , nothing !!!

From what I read, lady had been drinking, key broke, she sat down on step drunk and sleepy (we've all been there) fell asleep and didn't wake up

On the Welsh news last night there was the sad story of a reserve fire fighter who slipped going home from the fire station, hit his head on the ground and died.

years ago a friend of mine drowned in the cold, he worked in London, went out for a drink, came home on the train then began walking home. He wasn't wearing warm coat, it was said he got hypothermia which actually made him feel very hot, he then went for a swim to cool himself down! Very sad he was a smashing bloke. Wrap up warm everyone.
