I didn't think the A58 went anywhere near Scholes?? The A58's the Wetherby to Leeds road isn't it. I am in Whinmoor so not a million miles away from Scholes. God knows what goes through these people's minds, it's pretty worrying.

I had this Horsewatch message from West Yorks but deliberately without location

Overnight, between 1800 hours on 11/08/11 and 1100 hours on 12/08/11,
CHESTER has sustained injuries to both upper rear legs, and his tail. These
injuries seem to be consistent with burn injuries and the residue left on
these wounds was described as ‘melted plastic’. It is unknown whether or
not the pony has managed to obtain the injuries himself somehow or whether
this has been done maliciously. There are no remnants of a fire within the
field itself or anything else obvious to suggest what may have happened.
The pony has not managed to escape the field at any time".
