was looking on H&H came across this

hmmm i immediately didnt like him, then decided it was the way he was being ridden i didnt like and that hes actually quite nice

weaving wouldnt totally put me off buying a horse if it was nice in every other way and...as this one seems to...the price reflected it. I would say he was at least worth a look.

I think it's a bargin price and weaving doesnt put me off too much, however i have found that weavers are often a touch neurotic in general. i agree he is probs worth a look.

My horse weaves and he's not neurotic!!

He only weaves though if he's in a stable and wants his breakfast/dinner or thinks he's missing out on something. If kept out (which he is 24/7 in summer) he doesn't do it at all and hasn't suffered any physical problems as a result of weaving.

A change of management may be all that's needed. Some people do really feel weaving is detrimental to the value of the horse. others don't. It's not a desirable trait especially if you want to keep it on a livery yard but if at your own place it's much easier to manage.

There is probably something else wrong with him and the weaving is just a foil for why the price is low. He is a nice looking horse and worth a look, but go in with eyes wide open to other problems. Weaving would not bother me as my horses have to live out.Weaving often relates to being stable kept.
He is too nice and too cheap for weaving to be the only issue Iwould think.

Looks ok , but the very cheap price puts me off ( even though this this is put down to weaving . ) Only 9 years old too /BD points & TB xWB - alarm bells are ringing in my head .

However , nothing ventured , nothing gained , so probably still worth a look as you are in the area . Turn up a bit early to see if the horse is being frantically lunged ( this has happened to me a few times

Good luck , anyway
