Was the lost horse in Lydd ever found?

I've been wondering that too.

Did google it last night to see if there was any news but no reports of it being found came up.

No, not found.

There were reports of a horse being seen ridden in the dark on the day it disappeared, so I think they're now wondering if he is being 'looked after' by someone.

They did have the helicopter up looking, but no joy

I’ve been wondering this too. The poor, poor owners, I can only imagine the upset they are going though. I just hope if someone does have the horse they are looking after it.

QR The owners were racehorse trainers I think - he wasn't a happy hacker belonging to an ordinary horse-owner if you will pardon the expression. He wasn't really a pet, as I understand it.

What the hell difference does that make Brighteyes? There's still a horse missing, potentially dead in one of the many ditches and lakes on the MOD land. Maybe stolen. Who knows. I'm sure they still care about his welfare, racehorse trainers or not!

I read that as Brighteyes saying it was a horse with some sort of value as opposed to a £1K happy hacker. Ergo if not chipped could easily be repassported and shipped somewhere for ££

This is exactly what I was thinking....I even had the thought that it was all a set up....rider fell off 'to order'....just my opinion though...

it will be microchipped its a racehorse they are chipped at birth.

Out of interest, what suggests that this was done deliberately, as has been alluded to in a couple of the posts above???

Have I missed something somewhere that would have suggested that it was a deliberate act as opposed to an unfortunate incident?
