Wash bags for the washing machine....Any good?

I was just wondering if anyone used those big orange zip bags that you put all your hairy dog/horsey items into when you put them in the washing machine?!

I mostly use the machine at my yard but its been out of action recently and what with the never-ending awful weather getting everything muddy I have an increasing pile of washing! I have a machine at home, but its only about 5 months old and I think my other half would murder me if i got it full or hair and mud!!

Yes, I rate mine very highly! I too have washed stuff in a fairly new machine and the bag has really kept the crap away xx

Yup! Very good Just make sure you do the zip up properly and hook it down

Do you find you have to wipe the inside of the machine before you put normal clothes in there? I only as my other half is super fussy clean (he's military ) And he hates the dog hair as it is!

I have a Mattes one and an orange one (Moorland rider?) both really good, I wash brushes in mine too

I have an orange bag and find it excellent. I tend to wash all horsey and doggy stuff then run the washing machine empty on a rinse cycle just in case!

Just filled mine and put in washing machine before I sat down to read this. They are brilliant - I absolutely wouldn't be without them - far better than trying to keep a pillow case tied for a whole wash. And no, I never experience hair in the machine afterwards. It stays in bag and once that's dry you just turn it inside out and give a good shake

Yep they are fantastic!!!
Got mine off amazon for £12.50 before Christmas and that was including the delivery.
Don't know how I ever managed without it!!

Love this! I did that once but it had so much hair in it I was rumbled!

Yes well worth having. I do find stuff in them doesn't perhaps get as clean as if it wasn't, but the bonus of not needing to clean the washing machine out out weights that for me!! You do need to turn them inside out, outside, to get rid of the hair/grit/bedding they catch tho!

As long as the zip stays shut they work amazingly!! I had to sew a new zip on mine as my puppy pulled the original one off (but it did undo occasionally before zip replacement so maybe he did me a favour!)
