washing leather boots

does anyone else wash there leather mountain horse boots in the washing machine some one told me today thats what they do then oils them dont know if im brave enough to do this

No!!!! The zips conked out on me with much more care and attention - prob wouldn't have lasted 5mins if I did that!!
