Hello, I have some hkm sheepskin tendon boots and I was just wondering how to wash them? I'm worried if I put them in the washing machine it will ruin the fluffy-ness
Many thanks x

I think you are meant to put them on a cold wash coverd in hair conditioner!

Do not tumble dry! My eskadron fluffies died a terrible death this way :(

Clarendons wash well :) I chucked my old ones in the machine regularly.
If the hkm boots are real sheepskin its worth getting some proper sheepskin wash IMO. I find other detergents are a bit harsh. I got some from Horse Health recently which is good.

Buy some liquid wool wash and wash by hand in tepid water, rinse well and then use some good conditioner and again rinse well.

To keep the fluff fluffy one of those fine rabbit or cat brushes work well - the sort with slight hooks on them.

Allow to dry in a warm airy place
