Stupidly used my beloved Eskadron sheepskin tendon boots at a muddy show a while ago and now (even though Ive tried handwashing them) the sheepskin is all brown! Is there some sort of bleach / whitenening stuff which is safe to use on sheepskin to bring it back to what it should be??

Beware of bleach - it can make the sheepskin do a sort of dark yellow! Have you tried vanish soap rubbed in well and left for a bit before rinsiing? The other option is bio washing powder but that shouldn't be done too often!

If they were mine i would wash them in the machine on a cool, quick wash program. I always used to with my clarendon boots, good luck

I have the same boots and as an avid XC-er back in the UK, mine got horrendously dirty, wet and muddy.

I used to throw mine in the washing machine with Fairy detergent and some fabric softener and they came out looking like new every time!
