White jods driving me mad already. Usually all I need is to steep them down in concentrated biological washing powder, transfer to washing machine after overnight soak and hey presto - sparkling white!

But not Saturday's pair, daughter came off onto new outdoor sand school in practice and the backside and leg is ground in beige. I have soaked, scrubbed and put through one wash and still stains.

So what do you all use?

I use 1 thing with no fuss!

I put a white wash in on 60 degrees with oxyclean and bingo they are white ready for the following week. I have forgotten them for a week and still washed them when the marks are dried in and they still came out white.

If the stains are mega stubben then soak them in oxy clean with hot water then wash them withoxyclean ( i put 3 scoopps in the wash ) and that should do the trick.

I also use white numnah abd boots and it really works a treat on whites.

The dye from my black suede seated saddle seems to have permanently discoloured my white jodhs. Ive tried soaking in vanish then washing with it too but nothing has worked.

Use either 'Napisan' the nappy soaking agent (Old fashioned I know)or 'Glo White' for cleaning net curtains. These really get the jods clean, then wash normally.

Thanks folks, heading to Tesco to fill up on all products, keep my options open! I have resorted to scrubbing this pair with a stiff brush while wet, it's getting the main stains out but there's still a marbling of ground in dirt! Wonder can you scotchguard jods!
