but I actually jumped last night! This is the first time since my injury 7 months ago. Bricking it to be honest, and hung onto poor horses mouth, but once I had done the first one, it was much better. Jumped it again a couple of times and felt much more relaxed. Soloman doesnt really help as he canters on the spot then launches himself at the jumps!

Pathetic I know, but just really pleased as its been a very long haul getting back into the saddle. Leg hurts a bit now and is swollen but Im sure it will recover!

It's good that you're back doing it but don't do too much & aggravate your injury. You don't want a set back now, just gently get back into it & take your time........Good Luck

Well done Ness, good to hear you're managing a bit more now, you'll be in tip top condition again before you know it!

Thanks guys, It felt really good despite it being about 1 foot high!

[/ QUOTE ] That's just reminded of the first time I jumped a cross-pole. Seriously, I think there were taller ants scurrying about but you'd have thought I'd just taken first in the puissance. Ah, good times. It's a nice feeling and I wish I'd savoured it more.
