Wasn't the 100% safe that killed a woman sold????

The thing I found intriguing was the reported age of the horse - it was stated as being 3 years old and Reflex EQ. bought it from france in 2009 and there are photos of it being driven in France? That would make it 1 or 2 years old when broken to drive? I know Ardennes are big horses but even so that is very young.
 
That is horribly young to have been broken to drive, maybe that is why it panicked. It was just a baby. Bigger horses surely need more time to mature and should be broken LATER rather than earlier. So sad for everyone, including the horse.

Very sad for the family of the lady who died too.

Not a good situation all round, I dread to think what the future holds for this baby.
 
Hmm the article in last weeks H&H mag (13.10.11) said that one woman said the horse is no longer for sale and had been returned to its owner but it then says that a man said he sold the horse so the identity of the current owner is unknown :confused:

I suspect the horse was bought back by Reflex, with a view to selling on.
 
Poor horse, what bad luck he has had, with his fate being at the mercy of two utterly shabby people.
I wonder where he is now ? Is it too much to hope that he has come across a decent human being ?

I think he's probably come across plenty of decent human beings in his life. It is just this particular situation that is suspect.
 
Horses born in France in 2008 have names beginning with the letter U, so this horse is indeed only 3. Although renamed Lucas, his 'official' name is Urasio. Born same year as my Nemo, who's 'official' name is Urgent.
 
Now, i don't want to cause an outcry but, would it be so bad if someone bought this horse (i can assure i didn't;))
it is awful that someone died and i understand the advert is all lie's, but, My horse has bolted before, fair enough she didn't kill anyone but it was an accident...

Please note; i do NOT know this horse or it's where abouts:o
 
^^^^ my worry is that reflex just wants a sale without telling any viewers the truth.

I hope he finds a nice home, where they take things slowly with him, I'm sure he turn out to be a crackling horse, he just needs a chance

I very much hope that this horse does find a nice home, as a result of an honest advert.
