Wasp sting

I think my dog has been stung by a wasp. Iv just seen him really rubbing his face and when i looked on the floor there's a half dead wasp on the floor which he was knocking about.
This happened about 10mins ago and now hes gone really quiet. Should i run hi the vets to be checked over or should i see how he goes?

Vet to be on the safe side, some dogs can take quite severe reactions. Even give them a ring and they might recommend Piriton or something x

Deff vets - give them a ring first it could just be that he's shocked that it could hurt him!!
They might just say give piriton (As CC said) or they may say run him down to see them just to check

My old terrier did this... his face ballooned in an hour! he never did that again....

If you can see the sting site put some vinegar on it, really helps. My brothers dog got stung when i was walking her, she went very lame and pathetic so i had to carry her home (she is a Staffie!), i rung the vets in a panic and they advised vinegar and within 5 mins she was fine!

cant see anything and he's back running round with his toys. His face hasnt swelled or anything so will just keep an eye on him
