A very quick update on my little lady who's halo fell off last week with a whippet...
Went out with her and my mum's dog today and used 'watch me' right from the moment I left the house, got in the car, got out of the car etc etc etc - you know the drill!!
Well, she stayed with me the whole walk and didn't go off on any missions like she usually does.
She actually played with Fly and the ball nicely (usually steals the toy and then loses it in a bush!!), AND she came back to heel when faced with her biggest addiction - a squirrel ripe and ready to chase!!!
She even walked away from another dog with no questions, but couldn't resist a labrador a little while later, although seemed fairly friendly (no snaps).
I know she will lose her halo again no doubt, but I am so happy that something so simple has had a massive effect on her so quickly.
So thanks to Stargirl, CaveCanem and Cayla (and a fair few others) for your advice the other day, it certainly is working.
