Watched Indian Hospital on Al Jazeera last night., comparing the 2 should be compulsory for anybody who thinks the NHS is no good.

words that any parent never wants to hear- cannot begin to imagine the pain and devestation these parents go through.

the doctors and staff are amazing and do tremendous work.

Great Ormond Street Hospital - the people in there are my heroes. They saved my brother's life when everyone else thought he would die and helped us to discover our rare genetic condition.

The staff there are amazing. But my heart breaks for the parents who don't get to go home and be a complete family again. We were so lucky. I can't watch the programme because we have watched it happen on the wards ourselves - little empty beds and everything just a bit quieter with one less voice. It is heart wrenching to watch from the outside, fearing the same for your own family member - but the agony of the parents is unimaginable.
