Waterfalls of rain..... down my face!

I have just discovered that the vents on my skull cap do not make for a happy riding experience in torrential rain.

I have googled waterproof skull cap covers but I am not coming up with any obvious answers.
Any ideas?

Shouldn't admit this here, but in heavy rain I sometimes swap a riding hat for a wide-brimmed leather one which keeps the rain out of my eyes, and stops it running down the back of my neck. Not as safe if I fall, but that doesn't happen often, whereas the probability of getting soaked is 100%.

Thing is you kind of need a peak to stop it all running down your face. Honestly it was like a bad 1950s ocean movie with people throwing buckets of water.
I am loving the cling film idea and a regular hat cover. Or shower cap with ditto.

now to do it with no one watching.....

My poor horse already looks at me like I am special and not in a good way.

My new hi vis with waterproof pockets at least allowed my phone to live through the experience.

I might have spent last night blow drying my hat dry (rather than caring for my children ?)

Exactly you need a kind of legionnaires waterproof cap that goes on your skull cap.
