I never managed to get rid of mine on my beautiful prestige saddle

They seemed to fade when i first used various things, but it was just when the leather was slightly damp

As soon as it dried, the marks were evident again.

I have to get mud off mine as the Appy decided on the 'social ride' that she was itchy, I had a glass of mulled wine in one hand and her in the other and madam decided to roll!! Fortunately didn't roll over and break the tree, but saddle is now rather muddy.

They are caused by the excess water washing out some of the dye/ fat liquer in the leather...
Two main ways to deal with it- if the leather is dried out, try lots of proper neatsfoot oil over the whole saddle as that will even it out
or
wet the whole flap and work the edge of the watermark outwards so it blends in-
unfortunately there isnt a miracle cure but either of these methods will improve the appearance.
If its a black saddle, clean off the leather cleaner, let the leather dry completely and apply liquid scuff cover (sold for kids shoes- NOT the shoe shine as only the scuff cover has dye in it)-* Caveat * try a small area first!
