Watermelon for horses?

Can horses eat watermelon?
I know someone who cuts one into quaters and lets the horses eat it? Its never caused them any harm but is it good for them?

There was a thread on here earlier about what horses would eat - one of them was having curry so I think watermelon would be the least of your worries

i surpose it would be ok water melon it mostly water any way so ya give it ago just take the skin off!
