As title really, I have one that I bought last year but have washed it and nows its just not waterproof.

So, can anyone recommend a coat for yard and field duties, that has a hood that works, and covers your bum, and pockets.

Also, preferably doesn't make you sweat like a pig! I bough a harry hall from my local tack shop and am sure there was something wrong with it as it would be wet inside after wearing - kind of like condensation!

Would prefer not to pay several hundred pounds also.

If you don't care how it looks then try flexothane. It's the type local farmers round where I am use, I have had a coat and trousers set for years and they are still waterproof. They are thin so you can wear as many or as few layers under as you like (I think they're designed to be more of a waterproof and windproof "skin" over other clothes than as a coat to keep warm). They're made of thin fabric which is coated in something that is almost like rubber, they stretch well and mine have never ripped or anything like that :)

Also it has a hood, that can be rolled back into the collar, and a couple of big pockets. They're not too expensive either, I think they're around about the £30-40 sort of mark :)
