Hiya

I'm guessing this has been asked before but can't find the thread

I'm looking for a good waterproof exercise sheet so I can keep pony dry when hacking so I can get a rug back on after - I don't have a stable ATM.

Would prefer one that cuts around the saddle rather than go under it as we have had saddle problems in the past and don't want to interfere with it in any way.

Also, what size should I go for - he is a 14hh cob type - 5ft 9" in rugs.

Quite like the Mark Todd ones here but can't afford the Coolex waterproof one unless someone convinces me they are very, very good

The MT waterproof one at £29 was the one I was thinking of getting.

Many thanks for all replies

i have a rambo cut away one, with a fleece lining. it is lovely and does the job brilliantly, its around 30pounds i think, but i reckon the mark todd one would be pretty similar.i would go for a 4'3" my 16.2 wears these (off my old pony) and they fit fine, and the slightly smaller size means theres no excess fabric to flap around.

The mark todd ones are by far the best imo- i have galloped in mine in full winds and rain at top speed and its never moved. I use it for hacking and schooling and at comps etc.

I have the fleece and the waterproof one

I have a superb Lavenham one that is navy with a flourescent binding and is waterproof and have had it for 5 years and still as good as new, not the cheapest but worth every penny!

Thanks for replies.

Might be a daft question but is the MT normal waterproof one fleece lined? It doesn't say on website but the hi viz one is??

Think my local tackshop might do the Rambo one - will have a look.

Thanks for the recommendation of the Lavenham one though I think it's one that goes under the saddle - like their website, have entered the competition

Thanks again

Let me know what it's like, really need to get a new one as mine is too small, goes under the saddle and pulls. Would prefer the yellow with the way people drive round here!!
