Looking for ideas for hunting in this hideous weather. Have been wearing a long stockman's type jacket that covers my legs but have also seen waterproof hunting coats.
Where can I buy them, are they worth the money, or should I just stick with my long waxed coat that I can pile the layers under!

I was out today in quite foul conditions - I was quite impressed by a 'Ri-dry hunting mack' that several of my hunt were wearing. If you google the name you'll get the info. They seem better than any waxed garment and come down to mid-thigh level.

yes I've seen them, but they're about £150, much more than I'd hoped to pay.
Think I'll just stay with long waxed coat, at least it keeps my legs and top of my boots covered. I hate how the rain always finds its way into the top of your boots!

Amazing bit of kit made down here in Somerset, warm, dry and WELL worth the money particularly in the current conditions!!

Maybe they are, but serious investment. Think I'll stick with my waterproof breeches and long coat, a fraction of the price

Are the Ri-Dry's real good then? OH going to buy me something nice for my birthday and I'm quite tempted by a mac to keep me dry. I got soaked on Sat.

They look well worth the price to me. My hunt coat was just about ruined by mud and rain on Saturday.
