i have a splash skip hat that ive had for around 5 years now and its still waterproof !

They are great and exceptionally comfortable but don't really stay waterproof for that long if you wash them a lot like I do!

I've got Ri-Dry ones and they are great. Rains all the time here.

Yes, they good, the secret is to tumble dry them apparently to keep them waterproof. Must get my pair out...

The splash ones are horrible, my hubby has them and they are like skin tight demin, really tight and stiff. Can't tell you about the waterproofness though.
