Currently i have an old wooden cupboard outside my stable, turned on its side so the door acts as a lid at the top to store a few rugs, my riding hat, grooming kit, odds and ends, that sort of thing. but the problem is its not in the slightest bit waterproof and everything is constantly damp and is consequently starting to go mouldy and getting ruined :(

so im looking for a storage box that i can replace it with, preferably around the same size which is 2'x2'x2' but anything around that is fine. Couldn't go any smaller as it wouldn't be big enough and also don't want too massive as don't have a huge amount of room.

I'm guessing plastic would be the best material but just wondering if anyone can recommend any or if you have any genius ideas as to what i can use?

Have you tried b&q or The Range - they are normally quite good - they do a lot of outdoor plastic storage boxes - I have a plastic trunk I got from wilkisons but haven't seen any for ages - will have a look the weekend & let you know if they have any in x

Thanks for the advice everyone! We have a wilkinsons nearby so will have a look there and will also check out tesco. Had thought of a gutted chest freezer but it's too big really
