waterproof trousers

Hi all, I've decided after getting a wet bottom on several occasions out riding this week, that I need to invest in some waterproof riding trousers.
Can any of you recommend any that don't break the bank and keep you dry and cosy in the saddle?

Best waterproof trousers I've had are out of the golf section in Sports Direct discount shop - they cost £5 and the matching waterproof jacket was £6. They have elasticated waists and zips at the bottom and come in many sizes from childs to XXXL and in a sensible blue or black. Think they are made by Umbro.

Sports Direct, cheap & reasonable quality. They do the job well without breaking the bank.

Flexothane http://www.farmrite.co.uk/category.php?c=634 . About the only thing that copes with Dartmoor on a bad day. The problem with a lot of walking ones is that there is some strain on the seam when riding, and the seam leaks and you get an even wetter bottom.
