Can anyone recommend some waterproof breeches that aren't to expensive & come in beige to hunt in?! No over trousers, I'm in need of breeches/jods. Thanks x

Hi Ariat do some soft shell breeches which are waterproof and fleece lined. I have a pair and they are great. Sadly they didn't prevent me getting soaked when I fell in a waterlogged ditch last time out!

Lots of manufacturers are making waterproof breeches nowadays.
I have a pair of Toggi Arctic in beige that I hunt in and recently bought a Townend pair, but just a fraction too small so will be looking to rehome them. ;)
Also know Shires do them and Tallyho used to make them.
They are roughly £90, you may find them cheaper but I have hunted in mine for the last two seasons and they have been great and would reccomend.
The only thing I'd advise is going up a size as they don't stretch the same way of usual breeches.

I've always admired an apron as it covers the front of the saddle and over the knees but I spend a lot of time nipping on and off for gates and it's a right faff and I gave up using it. Perhaps once you reach a certain age and don't do gates anymore then it's a good idea. Quite difficult to source though
