Has anyone the same problem. My horse has very watery brown poo dripping out and running down his back legs and tail. BUT his droppings are normal and firm. He does not have any problems with eating, riding etc, all are normal. He has been fine all summer with very short grass (and feed), but now he is in (out in day) with longer grass as different field. He has wet hay - COPD.

The vet said not much you can do, but try a pro biotic and just keep washing him off. The one I used did not do much. Anyone know of one which may help. Someone mentioned adding bran to the feed.

my gelding had this

his
was giving horseage when the grass is still rich.

also carrots have done this before to him to .

could be

to much rich grass if they move to a new field
too much protein
worm burden
stress if he has just moved to a new yard
change of feed to quick .
stomach ulcers
other gut related problem

otherwise it could be more serious
if it doesn't clear up in a few days i would call vet.

make sure you wash his bum or he could get burns on his skin
