My boy has got quite a wax lump on the end of his inner ear fluff but it's not in his ear, it's sticking out because the fluff is so long.

Would you cut it out or leave it be? It doesn't seem to bother him.

Roo has them. I was really mean the other day and yanked them out. I timed it so he thought he'd just somehow caught an ear on my jacket so he was less freaked out than he could have been.

He gets them every year with his wolly coat and they fall out as he moults but they're unsightly! You could always snip them off with sharp scissors is they're annoying you.

I did think about getting some baby scissors (afraid of poking him or taking an ear off if he freaks out suddenly at me fiddling about with his waxy lugs) but wondered if he would live if I just left them ;) I think I'll just get over my aversion to waxy ears and let it come out naturally (hopefully) when he moults :)
