Wayhay! First canter out!

Well, I know it's been a while coming, but we had our first canter outside today! Infact, two canters! Went out with a very experienced, sensible friend and her excellent horse and she said 'we'll have a little canter here' - so we did! She didn't realise I hadn't cantered outside of the school yet (not since last year's 'accident'!!) Then we had a longer one along a wide stretch through the woods - perfect! :

I was so pleased with Hugo - he was a star (of course!) and it was really fun in the lovely sunshine. He did exactly as I asked all the way round xx

Badminton next year! (Well, maybe not ... )

I am jealous mind as i still haven't had the guts to have a controlled canter whilst out with mine yet. We had one excited burst while out with others but would love one that i have decided on!
