Ways to travel a shetland in a horse box

How would I travel a shetland in a horse box for up to 1 hour journeys. My big horses go without a divider so I am just wondering if I put the divider in for a shetland or leave the divider out and any other tips for travelling a shetland in a horse box are appreciated

Are you in the uk? Just pondering, as horses should be separated by partition in transit here.

I've just travelled tiny ones by attaching baler twine to rear end of a partition and tying them to that, so they can't annoy travelling chums, nor get round partitions etc.

If he’s on his own, remove partition/ breast bar, plenty of straw, make sure you lock the jockey / living door, close any top doors if a trailer, leave him loose with just a head collar and some hay on the floor. Will sort himself out.
