WB people - any info on these lines?

Very strong jumping sire line from Alme Z and Gottard.
I recognise Altan in the Trakehner part of the pedigree as he is my mare's pedigree but a few generations back and in the same way appears in the pedigree of Consul.

Alme Z was a prolific sire of showjumpers. Some info on him here

Also found ths on Aloube Z - "Aloube Z is from the blood of Alme, Gottard one of the most influential jumping sires ever (Alme One of the most influential stallions two of his sons being ‘I Love You’ - winner of the world cup, and Galoubet - who dominated the International jumping scene in the 80’s. Further Stallion sons are Jalisco, Athlete, Ahorn, Aloubet, Alexis, Animo and Aldato. Genetically strong always has strong blood) Aloube Z is the sire of Alcatraz who has the sires combination (Alme / Gotthard) the same combination as Athlete, one of top sires in Holsteiner, both bred on Zangersheide in Belgium."

Thank you - and thanks to volatis!

So on the sire's side at least this is quite a good pedigree, it seems.

The mare is quite nice - a very substantial, chunky, powerful type; her owner is hoping Tobago will add refinement, elegance, a prettier head and more elevated movement. (So, no pressure there, then!)

What should we expect from a combination of this...

Alma is not as good as many of the stunning WB mares owned by HHO breeders, but I'm hoping this foal will at least give some indication of Tobago's potential as a sport-horse sire.
