I have a horse that unfortunatly I am going to have to sell due to a new job meaning I can't keep all 4 of my horses. I have chosen to sell this horse because I only got her in March and I have had my others much longer and therefore I am more emotionally attatched to them.
She is 8 years old, 16.1hh bay mare. Very well bred TB by Double Trigger. When I bought her in March she had only hacked out and done flatwork as her previous owner didn't jump. She started Jumping at the end of March, and did unaffiliated SJ going clear every time. I took her xc schooling which she really enjoyed so I did the riding Club area horse trials, round a BE intro track, where we jumped double clear and came 7th! In July I affiliated her BE and did 4 intros (sorry BE90!), where we came 10th, 4th and won twice, both times we won, we lead from the dressage, at Stafford we did a 21 dressage! So she has qualified twice for Intro Reginal Finals. She has been cubbing and was very well behaved, and did not get strong or silly. She has done all of this in a snaffle.
On the flat and hacking she is very straightforward, good with tractors, trains, lorries etc. Can go for a good canter alone or in company, in front or behind, doesn't get strong. My nervous mother is happy to ride and school her. Jumping is a little green, but there is plenty of talent as can be seen by her BE results so far. So the ideal home would be a competent rider, maybe a pony club home, she is a real all rounder who is happy to turn her hoof to anything. She is well mannered, good with vet, farrier, etc. Very good to load and will happily stand on the lorry when another horse is taken away.
Can't think of much more to say about her at the mo, but it is a sad sale of a horse I had hoped to compete successfully again next season. So any thought on a price would be greatly appreciated!
