why has he chosen the name ghengis? there must be a story behind that!
We appear to have acquired a pony - meet Honey, aka Ghengis!

We have absolutely no idea where the name 'Ghengis' came from but he has said it as clear as a bell since he could talk. When I was on the 'convince daddy a pony is a good idea' assault I would ask him (then about 18 months old): 'Do you want a pony, Jacob?' to which he would reply 'yes', then I'd say 'What do you want to call your pony?', he has answered 'Ghengis' without fail ever since. God only knows where it has come from but makes me smile everytime

she is adorable, such a cute pair . My cousins little boy always hops on my incredibly obliging mare whenever he's over - if I'm out hacking he sits and waits for me with his helmet on 
- and she's great with him but she's just over 16hh. He is also a Jacob 
and I'd love to get him his own 'Ghengis' though the poor thing would probably end up with 'Diego' as thats his favourite name, he tried to give it to his female guinea pig!
Honey looks like a proper sweetheart.
