last night whilst i was doing my warm up on my neddy, i was just popping some little jumps about 2'6 and i approach one of them and we go it wrong big style, she got under it and ignored my leg for take off, so we tripped over it fell on the ground and snapped a thick wooden pole in half. i sh*t my self !! thank god she was fine and for her confedence and mine i had to jump again so we check is she was sound and she fine, so i jumped on her agian and headed to a fence she dragged me towards it and cleared it :S also it was bigger than the other one (strange horse). But i am soooo glad she was ok

my heart was in my throat, i put some cooling gel on her legs and knees in case.

Perhaps it was something in the air last night! My daughter was out XC training and the horse put in a dirty stop and fell onto the jump squashing her leg between himself and the jump. They carried on the training albeit a bit more carefully and seem ok this morning although my daughter's ankle is a bit bruised.

Glad you and your horse are fine.

Well if it really was someothing in the air last night I'm glad my daughter didn't take me up on my offer to get on and sort him out! I'm too old to fall off and not be very sore the next day!

I went to the unafilliated jumping last night and saw a lovely coloured pony, popping round very nicely then it went a bit wrong at one of the fences and tripped over the fence went down, skidded an onto its side

It did appear to land on the rider, but she jumped straight up, I went in to take the pony and she seemed to be really hurting around her ribs, so hope she is ok today.

I would ahve been off had I not bailed off first. Fell off with a nasty thud at the weekend though when another horse tried to kick my pony, was very sore for a day or two.

wow sounds like everyones in the wars

I think im the opppsite, I had a fabby ride on my neddy yesterday and in my lesson today. He felt great!

Hope everyones not too battered and bruised and your all feeling better soon!

ouch, that happened to me once, my pony was spooked by a dog going into a jump, and wrapped her legs round the pole and flipped, landing on top of me. Really hurt, I tend to do crazy dives when I think I'm going to fall now to get out of the way!

That's always my greatest fear.

I can just about stand it when I fall off but when we both fall that really shakes me up!

Its definitely something in the air

We were just working on his canter and popping a couple of little upright just keeping the canter stride going. We were doing really well when he jumped I asked him to turn, not particularly tight, and his back legs just paddled out underneath him. He tried his hardest to stay up but he sent me out the side then came crashing down on my right ankle

We both got back up, I got back on and we had a trot and canter round and then a jump to finish. He is fine apart from a small graze on his right hind fetlock. My ankle is agony

It feels a bit crushed and I'm sure it will be purple by morning. It is weight baring and not swollen but aching like mad

I'm glad you and your horse and everyone else who has dropped off this week is ok
