ok, i have had my horse ricky for just over a year now. its not that long but we have bonded really well and get on great. i LOVE him so much i wouldnt change anything about him 
even though he is a trotter! its been alot of work and time to get him cantering. we can do about 1 lap on our left leg, but only 1/2 on the right. The canter is balanced, not collected but slow for him, and we're beginning to be able to get him to alter his pace! i am so proud of him!!!we still have a long way to go but when we got him his trot was very fast, and so was the canter! trot is a perfect 2 beat rythm, canter perfect 3. before it was all over the place(he couldnt really work out how to put his legs in the right place in time!) thankyou so much if you reaed this far! he is so reliable and he tries his hardest to look after his rider(me)even though he is a idiot and has fell over due to be unbalanced 4 times!
