We Can Do It! (self indulgent)

Well after the who-har me and my boy ( his name is Mattie btw!) had the other week I've decided to step back from the riding with him and do some lunging, long reining and go for some long walks.
I didn't think he would long rein and lunge with two lines because hes not so good to lunge in general but he proved me wrong.
Long reined like an angel (the best horse I've ever long reined

) and then lunged with two lines and i don't know why i've never concentrated on it before. Hes amazing, collected trot in an outline and no silly spooking, rearing or running off and he enjoyed himself, didn't want to stop.
days like today show the potential hes got, just wish it would be more consistant
but very very pleased with him. Watch out for us at some dressage comps in leicestershire!
