I took Mr Moose to his first show ever this weekend!! He is a 17hh warmblood who has never been out and is a bit of a massive project horse! Game plan was to lunge in at home get there get on and go straight in!! the plan was to try to stay in the ring and attempt the test without hopefully leaving the ring.

well he was sooo spooky when we went in the ring but he put his big boy pants on and did the job at hand a completed his walk trot test without to much fuss and we even finished up coming 6th which was a HUGE bonus!! We got 55% and the winner only got 61%!!!! He was a very good boy!!! here is a video of our test

Oh well done! Did you do it with your renegades on? Can't see video but sounds like it put a smile on your face. Yay :)
 
Thank you for all your comments!!! Hugely chuffed with him. This was a massive step for us as he has got some major issues stemming back to when he was broken so this is huge. When I got him I could not get on him let alone think about taking him into a dressage test, never in a month of sundays did I think I was going to do the free walk on the long rein!!! He is a grandson of Amino and has huge potential once we work around his issues. Fingers crossed this is a turning point!!! I know he enjoyed himself he looked chuffed for about 24hrs!!!
