okay, subject to all the usual, we have found a pony!
He is a 10hh chestnut shetland. We went to see him, and i was SO impressed by him, he stood like an angel, kids rattling round him, didnt bat an eyelid. Went for a little walk on the roads and was 100% with traffic etc etc.
After J being bucked off the other week we havent seen a pony I would have been prepared to put him on, and J was quite frankly terrified of riding again. We kept his hat and body protector in the car just in case, but he was in tears saying he didnt want to get on the pony. Which was fair enough.
Got there and J went "ahhhh! look!". Little chestnut ball of hair.
We watched him being tacked up etc, and his owner riding him, and J suddenly decided he wanted to have a go. So after a bit he got on. He had a little walk and trot, and decided he wanted to hack him out, and didnt want to get off of him EVER.

After checking him over etc etc, all seems in order, so all going to plan he should be with us in a couple of weeks.
J is so excited about riding again, and talked of nothing but going out for hacks all the way home.
