Me and Toby (aka Skillful Lad) had our first show today! We only done the tack and turnout, and he was a total pro. He was happily walking around, regardless of all the other ponies, and people watching. Didn't take any notice of the sights and sounds, and just got on with it - even in the rubbish weather!!
He obviously impressed the judges as he got a brilliant 2nd place!!! I am so pleased with him today, and cannot wait for next years season to begin!!
I think today really boosted both mine and his confidence, and I really feel like we are gelling together now!!
