When we went to view Maggie in May, we were told she was 17hh. Me being 5ft3 and my sister 5ft5 and lightweight, we felt that may be way too big for us. We ended up buying her anyway, and have had loads of fun with her in the short time we have owned her.
Yesterday we measured her for the first time and she is 17.2hh! I am very glad I didn't know this when we first went to view her, as there is no way we would have gone to see a horse that size. She is an absolute superstar and I can truly say that in this case, size doesn't matter!
