We got a rosette!!!

Not in Comp Riders as it was only a 2ft6 SJing show!

This is the first SJing show we've done since Dec last year and he was fab. Been doing lots of work on the flat to get him off my leg and it's really paid off with the jumping. First SJing class I've done in a long time in a snaffle and without spurs - long may it continue!

Anyway..... did 2ft3 clear round, which he loved, then braved the 2ft6 "Novice SJing" class in the big ring. What a star, just took me round. I don't think we've ever jumped a round like that! He used to have a very nasty stop but didn't bat an eyelid today, not even at the hanging gate I was worried about. Bit slow in the jumpoff but clear and ended up fourth

LOL! Have had some more TFT recently but the strange thing is the jumping itself doesn't bother me now, it's the preparation. I get so nervous about not being on time, being late for my class etc, about it all going wrong in front of people, and also because he can be a real pain in the warm up.
