I dont know if many remember my post when I was concerned about my girlie not having shoes back on as temp farrier gave up on her, welll....last time my farrier came I just ask him to trim her feet which he did and the other day he came and got all 4 shoes on!!!
Physio said she was fine and no issues and plus i wanted stud holes for her to help gain confidence jumping on grass so asked farrier to try all feet, her back feet were great she just stod there as long as we didnt lift her feet up to high and her fronts ok, front near not a problem but front fore (the origional problem foot) was an issue but he lifted her foot up and asked me to keep patting her neck and whilst i did this he put all nails in and her shoe was on and she didnt even flinch!
Farrier thinks she has had a bad experiance in the past and thats why she was a pain! But my farrier is so good with her and very understanding.
