We had to have Becky PTS

Got a call from debs at 4pm saying get up here now theres been an accident Beckys hurt.

Got there and she said that becky and dolly, our 2 new horses had been turned out with the cobs last night. They must have attackd them cos we got there and dolly was lieing down not moving and becky was hiding in corner of field. She was covered in kicks and bite marks and had huge dent in her shoulder, looking like broken leg. Massive haematoma (sp) between her front legs and she wasnt happy.

She couldnt move at all.
Called vet and she had to be PTS.

I just cant believe its happened.

And bless her, it was a new vet, only been out since march, and was her first to be PTS.

Thanks guys, so far Dolly is alright.
Theyve not been apart in years, and we had to lead Dolly up from the field to the yard at the other end of village really slow, and she was whinnying all the way.
