I am still in shock... our patterdale terrier Gypsy had a litter of 7 pups last year which we thought was a lot for a terrier!

Well she's manage to have 9 this time round!!!

You'd have thought she'd have known what she was in for and had less!!

I did think she was bigger than last time but I never thought she'd have that many!!

I thought she'd stopped at 6 as there was a 1h30 break and she went to the loo, so I went to check the lambs and got back to find another 2, then she popped another out an hour later!!

All doing well so far.... obviously with such a big litter we will be keeping a very very close eye on them all, my husband is popping out to get some welpie just in case, and we'll be feeding her as much as she'll eat so she can cope with feeding so many little bundles of trouble. She is a great mum and full of milk though so fingers crossed all be good!!

I will post some pictures over the weekend!

Blimey!! I thought my JR, Millie, had a lot when she had 6! I will be having words with Mouse, telling her that after having 4 last time it is not acceptable to double that
